Nicole Greenspan


Nicole has worked in the field of sustainability since 2011. She has designed and managed a wide range of projects, in fields ranging from waste and energy to water and agriculture. She recently served as Sustainability Coordinator in Stanford University’s award-winning program, where she created and managed the annual Give & Go Move Out Donation Program, diverting over 100,000 pounds of reusable materials from the landfill each June. From working with the government in Brazil on climate change education, to promoting best practices in campus sustainability with US Green Building Council, Nicole has a diverse range of experience and skills to inform her work with Gigantic. She is particularly passionate about working collaboratively with communities to co-create a more just and sustainable future, using tools such as design thinking, community-based social marketing, anti-oppression facilitation and regenerative design.

Nicole holds an M.S. in Earth Systems with a focus on Sustainability Communication and Education, and a B.S. in Earth Systems with a focus on Energy, Science and Technology from Stanford University. She recently received her Four Seasons Permaculture Design Certificate from the Regenerative Design Institute.
